Everything you need to know to get started
Yes it is. All medication purchased through Ease are prescribed on the same rules and medical standards applied to your family physician. Our medical professionals will only prescribe medication when it is safe to do so based on the information you've provided us.
We are partnered with a Philippine-based retail pharmacy that holds an LTO license and Philippine business permit to dispense your medication, so you can be assured that your medication comes from a reliable source.
We are neither a pharmacy nor a clinic. Ease is a service platform that improves access to sexual and reproductive health services through the use of technology and supply chain innovations.
We work closely with licensed doctors and pharmacies to ensure that the process of attending consultations and obtaining medication is as streamlined and convenient as possible
All our doctors on the Ease platform are registered medical practitioners who hold a Philippine Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license. When you sign up for an appointment with us, or request a prescription, you will be given the details of the physician who will be attending to you.
Ease does not replace your primary care provider, but helps you avoid scheduling multiple appointments by providing convenient access to a range of sensitive healthcare services. We encourage you to continue seeing your primary care provider, especially for annual check-ups and urgent care.
We are currently available in Singapore and the Philippines (nationwide).
For legal reasons, we need the person who will use the medication to create their own account with their details. If your partner, friend or relative needs to use our services, please have them create an account or reach out to us at hello.ph@ease-healthcare.com.
Your privacy and security is extremely important to us. We have therefore developed our platform with strict security protocols to protect your personal data and ensure that your information stays safe with us.
When used perfectly, the pill is 99% effective. This is much higher than condoms and other forms of birth control. The more regularly you take your pills, the more effective they will be. However, because many people don’t use the pill perfectly (e.g. missing their pill), it can end up being around 91% effective. This is why we strongly recommend that you do your best to use to take your pill consistently, and in the manner prescribed by your medical provider.
If you’re unsure what type of birth control may work best for you, our doctors will be able to help. You can book a teleconsultation with one of our doctors to discuss different birth control options, and find what works best for you according to your health history and preferences. You may book your appointment here.

You may experience some side effects such as headaches, nausea, bloating (water retention not fat gain), and breast tenderness. These are normal, and usually subside within 2-3 months of continuous patch use. It is worth noting that not everyone experiences side effects, and that their severity varies from person to person.
If this is your first time considering any form of birth control, we'd recommend that you schedule a Birth Control Teleconsultation with our doctors as they can better advise you on the types of birth control, and which would be most suitable for you depending on your individual health and lifestyle needs. You may book the appointment here.
There are two main differences among different brands of pills.
- 1. Number of pills per pack: Some pills contain only 21 active pills. This means that for 1 week a month, you won’t take any pills and start your next pack after the 7-day break. Other brands provide 28 pills (24 active pills and 4 placebo pills) which means you will take 1 pill each day of the month.
- 2. Hormonal dosage: While all combination pills contain the hormones estrogen and progestin, they have different dosage levels. Specific dosage levels may suit you best depending on your health history and your preferences (e.g. if you want to skip your periods or not). If in doubt, you may sign up for a teleconsutlation with one of our doctors, who will be able to help you find a brand that works for you.

We do not currently have any arrangements with insurers. However, we're happy to provide any invoices or documents you may need to make your claims. Please reach out to us at hello.ph@ease-healthcare.com if you need any assistance on this.
As long as there is no medical reason to stop taking the pill, you can be on it for years, whether to regulate your menstrual cycle, treat cramps or prevent pregnancy. The best part? You can stop taking the pill at any point if you decide you do want to get pregnant; there is no change in long-term fertility with the use of birth control pills.
Although many women are used to getting birth control through their doctor’s office, you can now get the same options online for less hassle. Ease offers extensive support to anyone exploring different birth control pill options, and free shipping once you decide which route you want to take.
Getting birth control online instead of in person has a number of benefits, including:
Convenience. With Ease, you can request a prescription whenever you want or need it, saving you any scheduling problems or time-consuming trips to the doctor’s office.
Accessibility. When visiting a doctor, you usually only have a few minutes to get all of your questions answered. The medical team here at Ease can answer whatever questions you might have, when you have them.
Savings. Getting your pills delivered straight to your door means saving money on transportation, parking, and the time you may need to take off work to see your doctor.
Getting your birth control online may feel like a leap, so feel free to contact a member of our team for further information
The patch and the pill work similarly by releasing hormones to prevent pregnancy, or to regulate your hormones (with benefits such as, lightening cramps, periods and managing acne). With perfect use (i.e. no missed patches, and patches are applied and changed correctly), the patch is up to 99% effective at preventing pregnancies. Unlike the pill, the frequency of use for the patch is different. While the pill comes in packs of 21 or 28 pills depending on the brand, the patch comes in packs of 3, of which you apply once a week, for 3 weeks each month and have one patch-free week before starting again.

2. If you have used birth control before, you can fill in our online health questionnaire and attend a short free video check-in appointment with a doctor. If you're a first-time birth control user, you will need to sign up for a longer video teleconsultation with one of our physicians for PHP 500 to discuss birth control options in greater detail.
3. Our doctor will issue a prescription (if appropriate).
4. We deliver your birth control patches to your doorstep in discreet, unbranded packaging.
5. Once your supply runs out, simply submit a short renewal form to get a refill. You will not need to attend another teleconsultation.
Just like birth control pills, the patch contains hormones. Your body will require some time to adjust to a change in hormone levels as your start using the patch.
During this time, you may experience some side effects such as headaches, nausea, bloating (water retention not fat gain), and breast tenderness.
The patch is best applied to the upper outer arm, butt, stomach, or back areas. It should not be applied on your breasts. You can stick it on the same area each time, however it is recommended that you switch areas inbetween patches to prevent skin irritation.

Yes! As long as the prescription has not yet been filled, we can use your existing prescription to fill your order. Please remember that prescriptions may only be used for the quantity listed by your doctor and cannot be reused.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with the prescription, as we operate a closed-loop system where prescriptions are sent directly from the doctor to the pharmacist, who dispenses the medication. As a result, the prescription would already have been processed, marked and filed by the pharmacy in its records.
