Frequently Asked Questions
This is a teleconsultation that lasts up to 10 minutes. You will be able to discuss your symptoms or clarify any concerns and/or questions you may have regarding any symptoms you experience, as well as seek advice on future prevention. If appropriate, our doctors will be able to prescribe your treatment.
If you are experiencing symptoms but unsure what the condition is, we recommend signing up for a sexual health teleconsultation. During this teleconsultation you will be able to discuss with a doctor your symptoms or clarify any concerns and/or questions you may have regarding any symptoms you experience, as well as seek advice on future prevention. If appropriate, our doctors will be able to prescribe your treatment.
Our doctors are able to treat symptoms of yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis or urinary tract infection such as:
– Burning, redness, and swelling of the vagina and the vulva
– Pain or burning sensation when urinating
– Pain during sex
– A thick, white vaginal discharge that looks like cottage cheese and does not have a bad smell
– Fishy smell that gets stronger after sex
– Thin white, gray, or green discharge
– Needing to pee more often than usual during the night (nocturia)
– Pee that looks cloudy
– Needing to pee suddenly or more urgently than usual
– Needing to pee more often than usual
– Blood in your pee
– Lower tummy pain or pain in your back, just under the ribs
Remember though, this is not an emergency service. If you experience severe symptoms and/or require immediate medical attention, visit a clinic or hospital immediately.
If you’re unsure which condition you’re experiencing or have multiple symptoms we recommend signing up for a sexual health teleconsultation in which you will be able to speak about your symptoms with one of our doctors and if appropriate get treatment prescribed.
If, during your teleconsultation, your doctor believes that your situation requires you to attend a physical check-up or face to face appointment, we will be able to arrange one for you via one of our partner clinics.
Absolutely! Telemedicine is safe and effective, as long as doctors have accurate, current information about your case (and this applies to both telemedicine and in-person visits). This is why it is important that you answer questions truthfully, accurately, and completely in the health assessment form, and your consultation.
Furthermore, all doctors on our platform have completed the Singapore Ministry of Health’s telemedicine e-learning course and are well-trained to deliver medical advice and prescribe treatments through telemedicine.
